About Max

Real Estate

From the time I entered the real estate industry in 1982, I learned the importance of selling a property with trust and performance. This practice has enabled me to build long lasting quality personal relationships and establish a huge base of satisfied clients.

My career began with a local company that had operated for 25 years and who had achieved a successful formula without the need for large franchise group assistance. I acquired knowledge in sales in all aspects of the property market. My tasks grew to include private treaty and auction sales for residential homes and land, farms and small acreages, bush blocks, river front property, unique cottages, holiday homes, townhouses and home units.

My profile has grown as an agent through knowledge and performance in selling, listing and auctioneering.

Auction

My style developed from previously pursuing a career as a horseracing broadcaster. I began to train as an auctioneer in 1982 shortly after commencing in the real estate industry.

The ability to clearly and concisely describe and convey property descriptions to potential bidders whilst incorporating humour into my repertoire is a valuable asset to captivate and attract a good crowd which spreads the word and attracts more business.

Upon completion of my auctioneering training at the University of Western Sydney, I also completed my real estate licence and was acknowledged for my abilities and awarded "The Auctioneer of the Year" 1988-1989. My practical performance was filmed for a segment of the "Sunday" program.

I have continued to this day to attend auction training and workshops to keep my skills sharp and of the highest quality for the benefit of those clients who engage my services and also to compete at the highest standards against my competitors.

Community

For 25 years I have been and still remain Auctioneer and or Master of Ceremonies for many community events, charities and sporting bodies mainly associated with fund raising.

In 2003, I was awarded a Community Medal by the Shoalhaven Citizens Award Committee and in 2006 I was awarded the Milton Ulladulla Rotary Award for courtesy and community Service. In the same year I was invited to join Rotary.

I hold the following licences:

  • Real Estate Agent
  • Stock and Station Agent
  • Accredited Auctioneer (Licence No. 212973)

I have continued to this day to attend auction training and workshops to keep my skills sharp and of the highest quality for the benefit of those clients who engage my services and also to compete at the highest standards against my competitors.
